Enrichment Highlight: Around the World
One way RATL helps children experience holistic restoration is through our “Around The World” enrichment program. Each week during our After School Program, staff choose a country to explore and we teach kids about the country’s history, culture and food. The best part of “Around The World” is that we get to try a popular food from that country, giving children an opportunity to explore the world one bite at a time!

This year RATL hosted our Summer Camp at the Solomon’s Temple Foundation and it was truly a summer to remember! Thanks to Annalise, our Camps Coordinator, this summer went better than any of us could have imagined! God used her administrative gift to organize and coordinate a camp that brought joy to the kids and staff! We thank God for Annalise, her attention to detail, thoughtful and heart for the mission of RATL!

This year RATL began hosting School Year Camps to further support families on their journey to self-sustainability. During the weeks that kids were out of school, RATL hosted day camps filled with enriching activities, Bible lessons, snacks and loads of time under the trees.

(On Tuesdays, young girls come together to connect, grow, and have fun in a supportive, faith-filled environment. They share life updates, enjoy devotionals, and participate in creative crafts that encourage personal development. We also provide refreshments and time for meaningful conversation, helping to build confidence and deepen their relationship with God. Our time concludes with group prayer and a sense of unity.

Camp Lighthouse has been one of our strongest partners in helping families experience holistic restoration! This year we were excited to deepen our partnership by having our first annual Family Weekend Retreat! Our inaugural group of families enjoyed a weekend of restoration in God’s beautiful outdoors. Moms enjoyed time of fellowship, hiking and reflection while the kids enjoyed a day of activities and games. The families came together to enjoy time at the lake and a movie night. We are grateful for our friends at Camp Lighthouse and their partnership in helping our families on their journey to resotration.

RATL is blessed to be partnered with Richmont Trauma Center to provide our families with holistic mental health support! We are grateful for Mr. Eric, who joins us weekly during After School adn Summer Camp programs to provide social-emotional learning activities for our students. He also offers vital support to our staff by educating us on trauma-informed practices and co-regulating strategies. Thank you Mr. Eric!!
